I was adopted from Ethiopia when I was about 6 years old and have lived in Louisville, Kentucky ever since. I went to a classical christian school through the 8th grade where I took Latin for 7 years and college level Greek for 2 years. I have played soccer my whole life and was quickly identified as a an exceptional leader by my coaches. I started varsity in high school soccer for 4 years and captained the team my junior and senior year. At the end of my Sophomore year of College, my soccer coach asked me to be in the leadership group for the soccer team that consists of 8 players. My experiences as an adopted child from a different continent has allowed me to see perceive and evaluate the way people act in a way that is different that of my peers. I have been blessed and gifted with simple yet powerful skills that leaves an impression on people when they meet me.
