Heading the product management department consisting of Sr. Product Managers, Product Manager and Associates. As the Head of Product Management, my role encompasses strategic leadership and oversight of the entire product management function. Develop and articulate the overall product strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives and vision. Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure product strategies align with broader organizational goals. Provide visionary leadership to the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing product management team. Define and communicate a clear and compelling product roadmap that outlines short-term and long-term goals. Prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer needs, and business impact. Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product priorities and successful product launches. Foster effective communication channels between product management and other departments. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry advancements to inform product strategies. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and threats, providing insights for product development. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch, maintenance, and eventual retirement. Ensure products are consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Collaborate with finance and executive teams to create and manage budgets for product development and maintenance. Monitor and report on the financial performance of products, ensuring alignment with business goals. Foster a customer-centric approach to product management, ensuring that products address customer needs and pain points. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization. Encourage a culture of innovation within the product management team, promoting creative thinking and problem-solving. Get directly involved in all sales lead and pre-sales activities in order to get proposals prepared and respond to RFPs.
