Project Description: MorningStar is a financial-based company where I worked on different modules like the Projects Module, Job Module, Tickets Module, and User Profiles. Coding was done using the Extreme programming methodology, where we wrote high-level Junit tests to test methods in these modules. As part of support, we fix bugs, and sometimes we do enhancements as per client direction. As part of implementation, we developed HTML view/edit pages using decorators, parsed XML’s to load configuration files, mapped XML data to database tables, and created and deployed JSPs and Action Form Beans.

Responsibilities:

• Highly experienced in Java/J2EE frameworks like Spring, Spring boot, and frontend frameworks such as React JS and Vue JS.
• Developing new API’s for downstream applications to provide data related to the use case changes. Providing the reports through database queries for data analysis.
• Developing the Unit Test cases for each test case scenario. Updating the Unit Test results in Unit Test plan.
• Experience in handling messaging services using Apache Kafka.
• Deployed the application on Amazon Web services (AWS) and used it to provide a large computing capacity for scalable solutions.
• Develop Jenkins job for any new application build and deployment.
• Interact with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to define test plans and test data; identify reproduce and document defects; fix and verify defects.
• Providing support while deploying the changes from DEV, SIT, UAT and to Prod/ Live.
• Done the design, development and testing phases of Software Development using AGILE methodology and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Provide support during Production Deployment. Resolving the bug fixes during the release or QA phase.
