Residual Neural Network-Based Satellite Image Classification Using Deep Learning, 01/01/23

• In a research project to improve satellite image classification accuracy for environmental monitoring and land use analysis, I was responsible for designing and implementing a Residual Neural Network (ResNet) model, collecting and preprocessing a large dataset of labeled satellite images, designing and implementing the ResNet model with skip connections, training and optimizing it using GPU-accelerated computing and data augmentation, evaluating its performance using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, and deploying it for real-time classification, resulting in over 90% classification accuracy and enhancing the reliability of environmental monitoring and land use analysis.

• Developed an e-commerce web application from scratch to facilitate online shopping and streamline transactions Responsibilities included designing user-friendly frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for responsiveness across devices, utilizing Python to implement secure payment gateways like Stripe, managing database operations with PostgreSQL, integrating user authentication and authorization features, and ensuring the application met high standards of functionality and performance.
