- Developed the Linkback project, enabling secure publication access and sharing for Barclays MResearch clients. ● Built an admin module for the support team to handle cases, deregister clients, and track requests.
- Implemented messaging module called Connect, Watchlist, and phonebooks.
- Developed Colleague-Interface single-page architecture application using AngularJS/Node.js. ● Worked on CI android apps authorization, session refreshment, APIs, and REST Web services. ● Developed custom screens and integrated other tools like request approvals and service now.
Client: CVS Pharmacy (Caremark.com), Florham Park, NJ, Feb 2014 – Aug 2014
- Collaborated with stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitated the creation of the Business Requirements Document (BRD). Assisted the project manager in developing the Functional/Non Functional Requirements Document (FRD/nFRD) and crafted the Application Architecture Design Document (AAD). Provided timeline diagrams to stakeholders and solutions architects for the Minute Clinic application in the Caremark Portal.
- Implemented a HIPAA-compliant application, ensuring adherence to privacy standards for users. Introduced new personalization rules, enabling clients to customize their healthcare portal, and made necessary code modifications to accommodate these rules. Employed frameworks such as Struts Portlet, Spring Portlets MVC, and JSF Portlets to implement these functionalities.
Client: Condé Nast Publications, New York City, NY, Aug 2011 – Feb 2014
- Developed a widget within the application that periodically retrieves content from social media networking sites such as Pinterest, Vine, and Instagram to update the application with the latest media content. Implemented the widget using Node.js and MongoDB for data storage.
- Integrated social media networking sites into the web application using third-party APIs, enabling users to log in, share, and post directly from the application. Integrated the Livefyre commenting platform into the application, collaborating with the Livefyre team to resolve issues, migrate/port previous comments, and customize the platform.
- Conducted performance tuning for the applications, addressing memory leaks in the code, optimizing SQL queries, rewriting Hibernate criteria API code, and implementing additional caching to enhance application performance.
- Developed an Android application and server-side APIs for Vogue's Fashion Night Out app, delivering the application within a six-week deadline. Created APIs and RESTful web services to generate feeds for the mobile apps. Utilized AWS EC2, S3, and RDS to retrieve data from different vendors, process feeds, update the database, and provide feeds to the mobile apps.
- Worked on the development of the New Yorker's GOAT Android app and implemented the server-side application that provides APIs and RESTful web services for updating app content and introducing new features. Leveraged the Spring Framework, Hibernate Framework, AWS EC2, S3, and RDS to retrieve content from content management systems, process data, and store it on RDS for the app's content updates and latest events.
