I'm a Software Engineer II with 8 years of experience building back-end systems and data pipelines — most of it at Pramata Knowledge Solutions, a contract intelligence platform used by Fortune 500 companies including CenturyLink, Comcast, and FICO.
My day-to-day is Ruby on Rails and Python, deployed on AWS. But what I'm most energised by right now is AI engineering — specifically building agents that do real, useful work.
The project I'm most proud of: I built a contract data extraction agent using the Claude API (Anthropic) and LangChain that reads raw contract documents and pulls out structured data — parties, dates, obligations, pricing terms — and writes it directly to the database. It replaced a manual analyst review step and is now live in production, processing contracts every day.
I work with AI tools throughout my entire workflow. Cursor is my IDE of choice, I use GitHub Copilot for in-line suggestions, ChatGPT and Claude for thinking through problems, and Bolt.new when I need to prototype something quickly without a lot of setup overhead. AI isn't a side interest for me — it's how I build.
Beyond the technical work, I informally mentor junior engineers on the team — helping them navigate both the codebase and the contract data domain, which has a steep learning curve. I care about good code, clean documentation, and making sure knowledge doesn't live in one person's head.
I've recently enrolled in a Master's in Generative AI (online) to formalise what I've been building in practice — covering LLMs, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, and agent design.
I'm now actively looking for my next role — Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or Data Engineering — at companies where AI is central to how they build, not just a buzzword. Open to relocating to the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, or Australia, and happy to consider strong remote opportunities too.
Pramata is a contract intelligence platform used by Fortune 500 enterprises to digitise and act on contract data across legal, finance, and revenue operations.
Built and shipped a production AI agent using the Claude API and LangChain — extracts structured data from raw contracts (parties, dates, obligations, pricing) and writes to the database, replacing manual analyst review. Live in production daily.
Back-end feature development in Ruby on Rails and Python — APIs, background workers, and data processing services at scale.
AWS infrastructure: EC2 (app servers), S3 (contract file storage), RDS/MySQL (database), Lambda (async document processing), CloudWatch (monitoring).
Integrated AI throughout the development workflow — Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Bolt.new — from writing to reviewing to debugging.
Informally mentors junior engineers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and domain knowledge transfer.
