• Supporting Engineering and Materials department in greenfield facility launch for 2022 GMC Hummer EV Battery enclosure.

• Lead design, development, and procurement of all robotically loaded automotive shipping and electro-coated racks, special dunnage, and containers to support all new programs.

• Executed studies to forecast cost, space and equipment requirements for program volume increases and new program additions.

• Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and release of drawings.

• Created and managed the facilities PFEP (Plan For Every Part). A database detailing storage, replenishment, packaging, usage, and supplier information for over 400 unique components.

• Managed a team of 5 new engineering interns with a focus on new design and professional development.

• Prepared precise timing plans for layout and facility provision, in line with project constraints.

• Regularly communicated with suppliers and customers to resolve issues.

• Ensured efficient processes through strong communication with Operators, Maintenance, Engineers, Product, and Plant Managers. Managing responsibilities include quality, safety, cycle time, efficiency, and customer specifications.

• Responsible for design, capital allocation, and implementation of all packaging systems (Expendable, WIP, Finished Goods, Returnable) for plastic injection molded production parts.
• Provide ongoing support to both internal and external customers by completing progress reports and preparing presentations to discuss anticipated timing, scope of work, technological findings, and design changes.
• Managed 4 CK Technologies plants – performed all packaging related tasks as the sole packaging engineer for all locations supporting new product development projects
• Developed several continuous improvement strategies regarding packaging development.
