• Data Normalization Project (SQL and Excel): Retrieved a dataset from Kaggle comprised of approx. 20,000 movies across mainstream media streaming platforms including Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime to identify which factors gauge viewer attention. This project aimed to provide managerial recommendations to optimize viewership and highlight areas of improvement using data visualization tools.
• Data Mining and Analysis (Python and R): Retrieved a dataset from Kaggle pertaining to heart attack rates amongst young adults to identify and isolate factors that contribute to increased rates of heart attack. This project utilized various data mining algorithms including: decision trees, KNN, SVM, rule-based classifier, bagging, boosting, K-means, DB scan, and hierarchical clustering.
• Data Analysis Project (SQL): Given a dataset with companies listed on NASDAQ, retrieve each company’s financial information using SQL to retract the net income, size, market cap, and opening/closing prices.
