Technical Publications

Design and Development of IoT Based Electronic Apparatus to measure the Thermal Conductivity of Insulating Slabs

Published in the International Journal of Mines, Metals and Fuels- Jan 2024

  • The paper describes the creation of a cost-effective, portable device designed to measure thermal conductivity in various insulating materials, enhancing accessibility for research laboratories.
  • The apparatus incorporates Internet of Things (IoT) technology, allowing real-time data transmission and cloud storage, which facilitates remote monitoring and data analysis.
  • The thermal conductivity measured had 99% accuracy when compared to the standard values available for both homogenous materials and composites.

GPS-Based Toll Collection System

Published in IEEE Xplore November 2023, International Conference on the Confluence of Advancements in Robotics, Vision and Interdisciplinary Technology Management (IC-RVITM)

  • The system uses predefined GPS coordinates to identify when a vehicle passes through toll points.
  • Upon crossing a toll point, the system automatically calculates the toll fee based on the distance traveled.
  • The calculated toll fee is then deducted electronically from the vehicle owner's pre-loaded account or linked credit card.
