• Accomplishment: Africa Health Experience – Nairobi and surrounding communities (January 6–18, 2026)

Participated in an international service-learning experience in Kenya focused on community health and outreach. Gained exposure to mental health practices in Nairobi and contributed to underserved populations through multiple initiatives. Volunteered at a local orphanage, providing donations and assisting with essential needs. Delivered a community health presentation on diabetes in Mgwinigi, promoting awareness and prevention strategies. Visited Kasevi Health Center to observe clinical practices in a small healthcare setting. Additionally, supported individuals with disabilities in Kitumbi by contributing to their local businesses and community initiatives. Participated in outreach at Kitumbi church, assisting with basic eye examinations and promoting general health care. Engaged with local schools by helping with meals, playing with children, and learning about cultural practices within the community.
