Duties Performed as a Finance Officer:

  • To Ensure all the revenues collected on daily basis for QDF & QAS are deposited to company account as compare to daily sales export from AX / BC / QAS EBT Pro & Amadeus.
  • Supervise all cash office staff for all the locations reporting to me Q.A.S Excess baggage, QAS Porterage & QDF cash office.
  • To resolve all the customers issues on timely basis in a professional manner, and in full compliance with all QR published procedures, and policies by analyzing the problem, developing alternatives, and implementing swift decisions to achieve positive result.
  • Preparing monthly schedules for sales cash floats.
  • Approving monthly petty cash expenses for QDF & QAS for reimbursements from Treasury.
  • Approving monthly variances for QDF Retail and Jamocha and sending to payroll for salary deduction.
  • Attending management meeting with QDF & QAS for smooth operation process and to discuss any new changes is required in operations.
  • Resolving staff issues internally by arranging meeting with staffs and as when required.
  • Responsible for all operations for QDF & QAS cash offices to represent finance.
  • Arrangements of all internal requirements of cash offices with respective stakeholders eg; CCTV / Office equipments etc.
  • Preparing SOP's with current process and to initiate the changes as and when require for all cash offices. Also to on operations & QDF security SOP's if any role of Cash Offices is required to mention on it.
  • Managing all administration work for all cash officers,

- Preparing monthly roster for all departments.

- Arranging Airport duties for all new joining staffs.

- Arranging uniform for new joining while liaising with respective HR/Admin team.

_ Planning of staff leave yearly to make sure that its arranged properly without affecting operation.

  • Overviewing all individual performance and updating the same to management in order to promote or appreciation of staff.
  • Meeting with respective HR for any investigation for staff related to any issues within the department for any misconduct or misbehavior which is against the company policy.
  • To train all the new joining staff with cash handling and all internal process and policy to be followed with SOP's.
  • To make sure that all staff on board are in proper grooming as per policy.
  • To ensure that all the staff issues are been resolve by organizing the meeting with the staffs as and when required.
  • Preparing fortnightly and monthly reports to management for all the revenue collected
  • In charge of all the operations for this entire 3 department to represent Finance.
  • Dealing with Banks for all support required from them which includes,

- Requesting new credit card machines from bank respective locations as required by operation.

- Arranging the replacement of damaged credit card machines.

_ Arranging the document required by bank for any disputes raised by customer.


  • Dealing with all external suppliers on support required from them to run smooth operations like,

- Maintenance of cash counting machines.

- To check if any new updates required to be implemented on existing machines.

- To add or removal of any currencies as per operational requirement.
