Summary

I am a retired teacher, hoping to do some part time work this year at the Spirit store in West Lebanon, NH.

I have always been a in love with Halloween, and thought it might be fun to work a few hours a week in a Sp I rit Store.

As a retired school teacher, I have had a solid foundation in public education, fostering positive and inclusive learning environment, which might be an asset working for Spirit. As a teacher for 40 years, I demonstrated the ability to design engaging lesson plans and manage classroom dynamics effectively. Proven track record in enhancing student engagement and promoting academic success through innovative teaching methods and strong communication skills.

(That was my AI wrong out ten description, and probably, once again, not very relevant...)

Work History

Public School Teacher

Windsor, Hartford and Rochester, VT
08.1991 - 06.2019

I am currently retired but was a special education teacher in VT for 28 years. I taught in New Jersey and Idaho for 12 years prior to coming to New England, thus I had a teaching career that spanned 40 years.

I specialized in teaching students who were dyslexic how to read, write and use conventional spelling.

I was very good at this and students and their parents still recognize me when ever I am out, and say hello, or thank me for what I was able to do for them.
