With over eight years of experience in water system operations—three of which have been in a lead worker role. I bring a proven ability to manage field teams effectively while staying hands-on with day-to-day operations. I hold a Water Distribution Grade D4, Water Treatment Grade T2, and Cross-Connection Control Specialist certification, all of which support my technical qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisor position. As a lead by example type of leader, I prioritize teamwork, accountability, and safety in every task. I have successfully overseen repair and maintenance projects, trained and mentored crew members, and ensured regulatory compliance while maintaining high service standards for the community. Additionally, I am proficient in operating a wide range of heavy and light-duty equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water infrastructure, and have hands-on experience maintaining and monitoring pumps, motors, wells, pressure-reducing stations, and Cla-Val valves to ensure efficient and reliable system operation. Seeking to contribute my skills and leadership as maintenance supervisor with Joshua Basin Water District.
• Under general direction, supervised and worked alongside distribution crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of water mains, meters, valves, hydrants, and service connections across the District’s potable water system.

• Conducted hands-on training and mentoring in the safe and effective operation of light and heavy construction equipment including backhoes, excavators, skid steers, loaders, dump trucks, and hydro-excavators.
• Ensured team readiness and regulatory compliance by leading safety meetings, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and daily tailgate talks; enforced all OSHA and Cal/OSHA safety protocols.
• Acted as on-site Competent Person for trenching and excavation work, verifying adherence to safety standards and training staff to recognize and mitigate hazards.
• Instructed crew members on reading utility maps, interpreting construction drawings, and using GPS/GIS systems for infrastructure locating and documentation.
• Trained staff on proper procedures for pressure testing, chlorination/dechlorination, and loading of new mains in accordance with state and AWWA standards.
• Led by example in emergency response situations, guiding less experienced staff through high-pressure scenarios such as major water main breaks, shutdowns, and restoration efforts.
• Provided performance feedback and coaching, helping team members develop technical skills and prepare for certification exams (e.g., Distribution Operator Levels D1–D3).
• Supported new employee onboarding and helped establish a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning within the department.
