Summary
I've always loved being with children even when I was younger I would babysit for anyone that need it or help out in the children nursery at my church. My first joy of teaching came from my first teaching job at Faith West Christian Preschool, not only did I get to pray with and teach the children about Christ, but I got to teach them curriculum too that will further their education. I found my love in teaching. I loved watching the children learn, seeing the light bulb go off when they caught on to something, and hearing the crazy imagination they came up with! I worked with Faith while going to college for my Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education.
After Faith West Christian Preschool I joined Kindercare Learning Centers were I started as the assistant School Age Teacher, then I became the Lead Prek Teacher. I've taught prek the last 8 years including both my years at Faith and Kindercare and I still love teaching. Leading carpet time in songs, watching them grow and learn, and hearing the silly/funny things they come up with are probably my favorite things about children.
