• Manage a portfolio of 80 high-net worth and ultra-high net worth philanthropists and foundations, cultivating relationships that result in multiple 6- and 7-figure contributions each year.
• Lead a team of four, including three frontline fundraisers. Developing high-performing team by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for professional growth. Since beginning in this role, two team members have secured their first 6-figure contributions.

• Managed a portfolio of high net worth donors and prospects in the Midwest and New York who have the capacity to give six and seven figure contributions. Developed and executed strategies for each portfolio donor with the goal of securing new contributions, gift renewals or upgrades.
• Led Midwest Major Gifts team which included 2 frontline fundraisers and a coordinator. Ensured portfolio quality, discussed donor case studies and met with each fundraiser to review progress toward goals.
• Philanthropy Liaison to the Midwest Regional Board of Directors and then the New York Regional Board of Directors, planning and leading quarterly Board Meetings, developing Board communications and building strategies for Board recruitment.

• Led Major Gift activities in the Midwest Region, with a focus on portfolio development and growing our pipeline of donors giving $100,000 or more.
• Raised $1M+ annually by cultivating, stewarding and soliciting a portfolio of 125 major gift donors.
• Collaborated with multiple departments to develop effective strategies for donor engagement.

• Managed a portfolio of 150 major gift donors. Grew revenue by 32% from $845,155 in FY16 to $1,122,000 in FY18.
• Worked closely with Regional Managing Director to support Board development and management, including recruiting new members, conducting Board Work Plan meetings and facilitating Board orientations.

• Managed a portfolio of 150 major gift donors, and increased portfolio revenue from $300,000 to over $600,000.
• Stewarded and cultivated an individual donor over four years who later made a single contribution of $11M.

• Humanitarian Reporting Consultant, UNICEF Ethiopia, 2011: Supported the donor reporting process for UNICEF Ethiopia during the Horn of Africa Crisis.
• Writing and Research Consultant, UNICEF Sudan, 2011 (remote): Researched and drafted State of the Sudanese Children, modeled on UNICEF’s State of the World's Children, providing a state-by-state analysis of trends in progress and gaps in services.
• Reports and Fundraising Consultant, UNICEF South Sudan, 2010-2011: Coordinated the development and submission of more than 30 reports and proposals for government and foundation donors during the time when UNICEF was preparing for an emergency response.
• Researcher, Division of Communication, UNICEF HQ, 2008 – 2010: Researched, wrote and provided editorial support for UNICEF flagship publications that includes State of the World’s Children (2009, 2010, 2011), Children and AIDS: A Stocktaking Report (Third and Fourth editions), and UNICEF Annual Report (2009, 2010).
