Studied the use of double standards and unethical practices in organizations to determine how they affect employee moral.
Did a two hour class presentation reporting the effect of those double standards. It also included a fifteen minutes yoga workshop followed by a twenty minute meditation to help managers center themselves.
Worked on a project that integrated economic forecasting, financial planning, performance, organizational change, and leadership aspects for the Costco Wholesale Corporation. This was based partly on Costco’s annual report and on a face to face interview with their management team in Tumwater.
As part of a triad effort, interviewed local Latino families in Olympia and Chehalis to help establish their sense of identity and their integration of American Culture.
Did collaborative effort with classmates to translate the results of sixteen family interviews from Spanish to English, mostly translating and editing. This effort culminated on a 135 page book, titled: In Their Own Words: A Bilingual Anthology. Such book has been distributed local libraries, schools, and to the interviewed families.
