· Conduct audits of highly complex Commercial Lines policies and prepare detailed reports summarizing audit results and findings.
· Manage and train vendor audit team members to enhance audit department performance and increase operational efficiency.
· Actively engage in the internal group chats and training meetings, act as subject matter expert, provide guidance regarding insurance regulations, best practices, and other relevant information.
· Collaborate with underwriters to develop customized solutions for clients' needs.
· Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and audit results.
· Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences related to auditing practices.
· Research changes in state laws or regulations impacting premiums or coverages.
· Work closely with underwriting team members to discuss external audit results and action plans.
· Review and handle premium audit disputes, including determining whether the dispute has merit and the appropriate action based on that determination.
· Maintain a strong relationship with the policyholders, premium audit team, agents/brokers and business segments including underwriters and underwriting assistants.
