Work History
Cheerleader
3 Years 9 MonthsI am a flyer and tumbler for Espanola Valley Sundevils varsity cheer team. I learned to maintain communication through my coach and teammates. I learn routines and cheers and skills very quickly. I help with fundraisers and events for the cheer team.
Babysitter
1 Year 1 MonthMy responsibilities included making sure the kids had breakfast and lunch. They had a daily routine to take a shower, brush their teeth, and do their chores such as cleaning up their room and making their beds. I made sure to provide safety and obtain a clean and organized area. I communicated positively with the kids and parents. And reassured the kids when upset providing emotional support and stability.

I am currently taking AP lit/comp as an upcoming senior. I completed a dual credit and AP US history my junior year.

communication
Communication is a big part of every day life. As a babysitter i had to communicate constantly with kids and their parents. I had to communicate with the parents before hand to see what type of snacks i could give what options i had for food and what chores the kids needed to do. I communicated with the kids by letting them know what and how chores are completed and asking if they were hungry and communicating what is right and wrong. I also communicated a lot in cheer. With my teammates when it comes to helping eachother out with new skills and with my coaches to make sure everyone know what we are wearing for games and what we need to take on trips. And when we had to do fundraising events i had to communicate with others and help them with what they may have questions about what they need or just holding a conversation with someone at the concession stand.
leadership
As a leader i have maintained a positive attitude in cheer and being a role model to younger cheerleaders. I have had positive conversations with my team/teammates to help and give motivation. I helped out others in skills they may have been confused about.
accomplishments
I got selected twice as an All American cheerleader to go to New York and perform in the Macys thanksgiving day parade.
