• Select and perform appropriate examinations as necessary based on the patient assessment and initial physician order, to provide accurate representation of patient's anatomy and pathophysiology as determined during the ongoing examination

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and provide emotional support when necessary.

• Perform non-invasive arterial Doppler studies with Doppler and color duplex scanning using duplex examinations to evaluate blood flow and plaque characteristics with both real time imaging and spectral analysis using color capabilities, identifying pseudo-aneurysms, bypass graft patency, and post-operative angioplasties and stenting.

• Perform non-invasive venous examinations of lower extremities with Doppler and color duplex scanning using compression maneuvers

and imaging, for detection of deep vein thrombosis, superficial thrombophlebitis and/or valvular incompetence, which include mapping of the superficial veins for size and depth.

• Occasional dialysis fistula/graft patency, identify pseudo-aneurysms and arterial-venous fistulas with duplex scanning.

• Assisting physicians with reviewing and interpreting ultrasound images.

• Performing administrative tasks such as managing, increasing patient schedules, and filing diagnostic reports.

• Staying up to date with the latest advancements in sonography technology and techniques.

• Performed ultrasound scans and provided direct patient care after proper confirmation of study and patient identification.
• Reviewed physicians' orders to determine medical imaging needs and operated radiologic equipment to capture, develop and produce diagnostic images.
• Completed ultrasound exam such as, carotid, UA/LA, UV/LV, color duplex doppler,.
• Emergency exams such as rule out deep vein thrombosis.
