  • Serve on a team of Specialists who provide support and coaching to assigned Mentors and CASAs, supporting their work with dependency cases
  • Interview (1st and 2nd interviews), screen, support, and insure the competence of a core group of volunteer CASAs who are providing direct service to children in the dependency system
  • Assist with the initial and on-going training necessary for the volunteer CASA to perform their responsibilities, including but not limited to writing court reports
  • Assist with case selection, closures and re-assigning volunteer CASAs to cases in a timely manner
