I spent 20+ years in the service industry, working every position from dishwasher to management and executive chef. For the past four and a half years I've been employed as the Food and Beverage Director for Still Waters Men and Still Waters Women's (of Cumberland Heights) treatment facility in central Tennessee. I'm well versed in the kitchen in many different types of cuisine and even though my role lately has been more administrative than hands on in the kitchen I still have a great passion for food. I also run a small home business making seasonal treats, spice blends and vanilla extracts which I sell on a small scale across the country. I also perform the duties of being a counselor at Still Waters which I feel has greatly developed my ability to make personal connections with the people I work with and easily relate to anyone regardless of their personality type.
