San Juan Bautista is a very small town with a small Public Works team, this is very unique and all of our workers are skilled in all departments through cross training an often team up when we need extra help during water system repairs and various utility maintenance operations . Our team is also very resourceful often working with little available budget and limited equipment , this can be challenging but very rewarding.


  • Winter of 2023 under my supervision Our Public Works team achieved flood mitigation through effectively helping with traffic closures for emergency securement , sandbagging, emergency drain clearing and emergency tractor work .This critical flooding condition , required clear communication and prioritized coordination with our Public Works team and the cities First Responders . In the end this situation was a perfect reminder why clear communication and direction and team work is imperative during these critical situations.
