Hired on as a lead bartender, but when the kitchen needed positions filled, I happily filled in. The Balance Rock Inn is a beautiful Four-Diamond Restaurant on the water and appearance, professionalism, and attention to detail is an all time high priority. Because we don't deal with high numbers of patrons, a big part of tending bar here is engaging with customers which comes very naturally to myself.

The Aurora Bar and Grill located in Alyeska Ski Resort was a high end Mediterranean  restaurant with a high volume of patrons. It was a opportunity for me to learn a lot of specific skills like making pasta and different styles of cooking. It was my responsibility to make food orders and ensure that our food cost was kept to a minimum.
