Composer Concert - Satoshi Yagisawa

  • Co-Organized a composer concert featuring the works of Satoshi Yagisawa along side conducting graduate student Baxley Roberts. This concert featured the ODU Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble with other works performed by the ODU Sax Trio, Flute Quartet, and Clarinet Quartet.

Old Dominion University Brass Invitational

  • Organized and executed a Brass Invitational at Old Dominion University as a recruiting event involving high school programs from across Hampton Roads.

Dennis J. Zeisler Endowed Scholarship for Instrumental Music Education

  • The first student awarded the new Music Education scholarship in memory of Dr. Dennis J. Zeisler who was highly dedicated to the development of the ODU Department of Music in his 39 years at the F. Ludwig Diehn School of Music. The scholarship is awarded to students who show excellence in both their course work and ensemble performance as well as the demonstration of strong student leadership across all areas.
