Project List Experience

  • UCSF - LPPI Relocation to Mt.Zion, 40 million, Sr Project Manager, 30,000SF of HCai 5 Level Behavioral Health Space with inpatient and outpatient areas. All anti-ligature fixtures and hardware with tamper proof fasteners. Multiple phase project with a deadline that cannot be shifted.
  • Kaiser Los Gamos MOB, 60 million, Sr Project Manger, 150,000 SF Tenant Improvement for Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael. Taking the pre-construction process and budgeting effort to deliver a new and expanded MOB to the San Rafael area to service the growing population. Delivering with an IPD Contract, saving 7.5 Million Dollars, on time, during the middle of the Pandemic. Using LEAN principles and a 'member first, member focused' approach to the design effort we are providing the community increased services and new environment while re-purposing an existing building and making it more efficient.
  • Hall Winery - Barrel Room Expansion, 8 million, Project Manager, 14,000SF of climate-controlled barrel storage and laboratory space for blending and sampling. Prefabricated Metal Build on Site placed insulated concrete crash walls.
  • Ukiah Valley Medical Center, 33 million, Project Manager, 27,000 SF addition to existing/active hospital including 17 Emergency Department Patient Rooms, two dedicated trauma bays and 8 private ICU Treatment Rooms. While incorporating a new ambulance bay and heliport to provide better access to the community. This included work in the existing hospital space to upgrade egress paths and remodel interior spaces to better create work flow in the hospital departments.
  • United Airlines MOC Plate Shop at SFO, 2.1 million, Project Manager, Seismic Upgrade of an existing, active metal plating shop for United Airlines that performs all of the stripping and re-plating of landing gear assemblies for the majority of the United Airlines Fleet. Abatement of all existing Support Frames, adding steel cross bracing and enlarging the existing base plates for the frame-lines that support the chemical tanks above, while keeping the entire plating operation functioning 2 shifts a day.
  • Northridge Hospital Seismic Upgrades, 47 million, Project Manager, Upgrade of existing and fully functioning hospital to the OSHPD SPC2 requirements, including the rebuilding of pediatric wing, NICU wing, renovation of the Neurology and cardiology suites and modernization of the physical therapy wing. The seismic modifications for existing masonry elevator tower, while leaving at least two operational. The addition of a new service elevator tower utilizing the first ever Torque Down Pile system used in OSHPD. This was built in between two active patient towers.
  • Rose Bowl Press Box Tenant Improvements, 39 million, Project Manager/ Assistant Superintendent, Expansion of the existing press box facility to five times its original size. The project was a renovation/addition of the entire Press Box that included 50 new luxury suites, 8 new escalators, new stucco and store-front façade. In addition, the project team was responsible for the interior build out of the stadium's Press Box Suites, addition of two back-up generators tied to new server/camera rooms, including installation of a state-of-the-art video replay system, and complete stadium sound system. I started this project early on in Precon and was able to stay on to negotiate all final CO's with the Ownership team.
  • DCA - Cars Land, $$ million (NDA), Project Engineer/ Assistant Superintendent, Building the Imaginary land of Radiator Springs in the middle of Disney California Adventures. I was responsible for coordinating trades building the back-off house areas for 'Racers' with the Disney Ride Technicians and the Imagineers.

Having served in a Project Management role for a variety of major, complex healthcare and commercial projects, I bring versatility and maturity to each project. My typical responsibilities include general supervision for the team, maintaining/reviewing jobsite documentation such as RFIs submittals, change orders, budget/cash flow management, project buyout, material and equipment procurement, scheduling, and contracts. I also participates in the bidding process by developing estimates, reviewing of subcontractor bids, and writing subcontracts. He also help manage the project schedules by utilizing the Last Planner System and is responsible for updating the Master Schedule accordingly.
