Summary

Electrical Engineer with a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics (summa cum laude, ASU), and a proven track record in both technical and creative environments. After working at Northrop Grumman, I led a national touring music production project, applying out-of-the-box analog mixing and mastering techniques, oscillator-based audio synthesis, and project management skills in high-performance settings. Now seeking to re-enter the engineering field, bringing a unique blend of creativity, precision, and hands-on expertise.

Work History

Music Producer

Self Employed
07.2019 - Current
  • Mixed and mastered original music using both digital audio workstations and outboard hardware, including compressors, saturators, and analog equalizers, achieving high-fidelity sound across streaming and live formats.
  • Performed original music live on national tours, showcasing technical skill in set preparation, audio routing, and live signal flow management in varied acoustic environments.
  • Coordinated official music releases with multiple independent record labels, managing timelines, deliverables, and technical specifications from mastering to distribution.

Associate Electrical Engineer

Northrop Grumman
Chandler, AZ
06.2018 - 06.2019
  • Performed hardware testing and system-level integration for aerospace subsystems.
  • Conducted root cause investigations of electrical faults and supported corrective actions.
  • Designed and documented cable harnesses and test procedures.

Teaching Assistant

Arizona State University
Tempe, AZ
01.2016 - 05.2018
  • Taught lab and recitation sections, reinforcing engineering concepts through hands-on instruction.
  • Supported students via office hours and graded assignments to ensure academic progress.

Math & Science Tutor

Scottsdale Community College
Scottsdale, AZ
08.2014 - 07.2016

Projects

FURI Research Project – Hypersonic Vehicle Control Design

Modeled a scramjet-powered waverider airframe using MATLAB and control systems theory. Investigated longitudinal dynamics and pitch instability, applying modern control strategies to improve flight stability and maneuverability based on NASA X-43 and Boeing X-51 vehicle research.

Capstone Project – Robotic Throwing Arm

Collaborated on a team to design and build a robotic arm capable of accurately throwing a ball to a target in an uncertain environment. Integrated feedback control and image processing using Arduino to enable real-time adjustments and targeting.

NASA Research Project – 3D-Printed Horn Antenna Design

Designed a 3D-printed horn antenna to reduce both cost and fabrication time. Simulated and optimized the design using finite element analysis in HFSS. After validating the model, fabricated the antenna using 3D printing and applied a conductive surface via plasma sputtering deposition. Final performance was tested using a network analyzer.

Automotive Engineering Projects – BMW Builds

Rebuilt multiple BMW project cars, including full engine and drivetrain overhauls, custom ECU tuning (MegaSquirt), suspension redesign, and interior/exterior restoration. Gained extensive hands-on experience with mechanical systems, wiring, fabrication, and diagnostic tools.
