Summary

During my 12 year Air Force Career I have had a breadth of experiences ranging from leadership roles, tactical skills training, and instructing. I have deployed numerous times, mostly to remote locations operating in small teams. Furthermore, I am accustomed to working in roles that require good communication skills to all levels of leadership and require individuals to be self starters and have thrived in them all.

As the HVAC/R Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge I work closely with Air Force Senior Leadership, Non-Commissioned Officers, and Airmen to manage and direct facility, infrastructure systems, and contingency equipment. Currently, I manage 38 personnel in the maintenance and repair of 573 facilities to include 15 Missile Alert Facilities valued at $4.3 billion.

I worked hand in hand with Squadron leadership and Wing agencies in order to task, prepare, equip, and deploy Airmen. During my tenure I deployed 137 Engineers to 3 COCOMs, 8 countries, and 12 locations. Additionally I oversaw the awarding of deployment gear contracts totally $110K and $87K, respectively.

While assigned to United States Special Operations Command, Deployment Cell I attended several advanced shooting, survival, medical, and driving courses in order to frequently deploy in direct support of Special Operations Forces. As the equipment custodian I was responsible for 286 Environmental Control Units, Expeditionary Shower Systems, Expeditionary Laundry Systems, Refrigeration Containers, and Water Filtration Systems valued at $13M. Additionally, I was responsible for training 52 members from12 AFSCs in the set-up and operations of HVAC/R specific equipment.

27th Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron

02.2011 - 02.2016

As lead technician in the only military ran team in the HVAC/R shop, I oversaw the emergency repair of a chilled water line responsible for the climate control of servers supporting the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Operations Center which enabled sorties in support of operations in Afghanistan resulting in 4 enemies killed in action. Furthermore, I served as the lead CPR and SABC instructor for the squadron, teaching 20 classes and training over 300 personnel in life saving techniques.
