I have over a decade of experience in automotive repair and mining. I'm a very dedicated worker willing to do what it takes to get the job done. I owned my own repair business for almost two years which was very successful but ended up closing due to reasons beyond my control. I've also managed a very successful towing company off and on for over a decade. I have extensive experience being in the local mines and the safety protocols required from towing disabled vehicles out of the facilities of every iron mine in MN over the years. I am currently looking to get out of the auto repair industry and try something else. I am extremely committed to any job I am asked to perform and I would be an all around great employee for US Steel.
I was employed at Hibbing Taconite from September 25, 2023 as an Auto/Diesel Mechanic until I was laid off on April 5th, 2025. My experience there included module and wheel motor replacements on Komatsu 830E and Unit Rig MT4400 production trucks, major overhauls on Caterpillar D9 & D11 dozers, and major work on large wheel loaders such as a Letourneau L-1350, Komatsu WA1200, and Cat 993. I also performed extensive repairs on small fleet pickup trucks and medium duty trucks.
I left Ken’s A1 to pursue a similar job with better pay and benefits at Iron Range Tire Service. Performed advanced drivetrain and electrical diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles.
