- Completed 120 hour internship during my Fall 2024 semester.
- Spent many hours doing ride alongs with FTO.
- I was able to acquire a lot of job specific knowledge such as observing law enforcement procedures and community interaction.
- Attended practical training classes with current Connecticut police recruits and active officers. Classes included taser training, active shooter training, K-9 training, firearm safety and hostage negotiation/SWAT training.
- Developed professional communication skills through regular interaction with coworkers, and the public.
