I worked in landscaping and construction, handling everything from cutting lawns to building fences and laying floors. On the other side of things, I interned at BMO, where I picked up the basics of finance and how banks operate. I also studied abroad in Japan, where I learned the language, experienced the culture, and adapted to a completely new environment.
I'm the type of person who likes a challenge. I work hard to push past setbacks, whether in school, work, or life in general. That mindset helped me turn things around academically.
I'm always looking to learn something new, whether it is through physical work, studying, or even traveling like when I studied abroad in Japan. I take pride in being adaptable and willing to put in the effort to improve, no matter the situation.
