My team and I were tasked to create a school lunch bounded by dietary requirements. We created a meal that consisted of: a Kalua pork bowl topped with a purple cabbage coleslaw, Korean-inspired potato mac salad, and a peach parfait. At Northgate HQ, we prepped ten full meals for judges and a 150 samples for guest. I delivered a speech for the judges and crowd about the meal and the R&D of it.
At home, I enjoy meal prepping at home and try to set up my kitchen like I would at work as I believe its efficient. Whenever I have free time, I try to maintain my knives and practice sharpening my knives on a diamond stone. Outside of work and cooking, I often travel back and forth from Simi Valley to Anaheim to visit friends and family. If I'm not traveling, I enjoy playing airsoft or staying at home to play games and read.
