  • As an operator at Ipsco I ran the machines involved in the manufacturing and finishing of steel pipe for oil and
    natural gas exploration. I ran the Hydro tester where pipe were filled with a determined PSI of water to check for
    leaks or faults. A Beveller machine where we bevelled edges on the pipe. Also the blow-out where the pipe was
    cleaned and steal scarf removed from the inside. I was then laid off until rehired in 2010.
