- I have worked with my father for 12 years doing miscellaneous carpentry jobs. I have run wiring for 8 years, worked with multiple different power tools and hand tools the whole 12 years. I've done small plumbing work for over 6 years. I have laid flooring, decking boards, and shingles over the whole 12 years. I have worked with drywall and the various tools necessary to hang it. I have painted many houses and rooms over the 12 years. I did mostly work right alongside my father for the whole time, but he would let me work on solo projects at the same location to get the job done faster.
