  • I understand the gap between now and my last job is alarming, but the last year and a half consists of me making sustainable money by door dashing and working with my dad, repairing parts. I was planning on going back to college in the fall, but, financially, things didn't go according to plan, and I started job searching once I realized I couldn't. My brother offered to get me a job at the wastewater management company where he works. Once I let him know I would like to get on at that company, they were bought out by investors and simultaneously got slow, which caused them to freeze hiring. I decided to wait it out, continuing door dashing and working with my dad for a few months, and there isn't any sign of them starting back hiring. I'd like to believe that I'm hardworking, and I'm willing to learn. I understand how to treat customers and clients, and I have become knowledgeable about tools and equipment over the last year. I know how to work efficiently and under time constraints. I've never had any issues with coworkers or employers. I'm just looking for an opportunity to develop a valuable skill/trade, and perhaps start a career.
