Most days I come in at 7:00am and clean the runs or sometimes I'll be outside at this time watching the dogs that stayed overnight with us. With cleaning this consists of bed sanitizer on the beds, then sweeping the runs, followed by bleach water mixed with Fabuloso for a better smell. When this is all done we let the dogs in from outside and feed them. Next is meds. Around 9:00am we let out for AM playtime until about 12:00 in the afternoon. While the pups are out in the yard playing we are picking up poop to put in the poop buckets, tossing balls for pups that like to play, conducting evaluations, and correcting pups for bad behavior to ensure a safe and clean yard. Cleaning is followed by for the next hour. This could consist of changing out the poop buckets, cleaning playrooms, sweeping debris, or cleaning water buckets used in the yard. I have desk shifts as well, one day a week from 7:00am until 6:00pm. These days are filled with checking dogs in and out of our facilities whether they are here for daycare, grooming, or boarding. At the desk we answer phones, emails, and deal with money by cash, check or card. We make sure to get feeding entered into our system properly along with medications. I have been given about 4 raises while being with this company in the last year of being here.
Packing multiple items into a shipment, single items in a shipment, and working in the problem solving slam for items that have been messed up previously that day. Using computer program to find specific items in totes that need to go out at different scheduled times of the day between 7:00am-6:45pm. Making sure area, station, or computer is clean before, during, and after shift. Using Amazon Chime to communicate directly with associates and managers. In problem solving we gather product from stations to take back to the check in and sort through what still needs to be packed, sent back to picking, or damages.

Greeted and I checked in pets that were being boarded, there for daycare, or training. Then checked the pet out when the owner came to pick up. Sent owners into training rooms to wait for trainers to teach them what they taught their pets. Worked with the computer to find all pet and owner information. Booked boarding for customers. Took dogs back to the kennels along with their food and personal belongings. Made kennel cards so associates knew who the dog was, when they get fed, if they are taking in medication, their allergies, when they got there, and when they are leaving. Cleaned the front office, training rooms, bathing room, bathrooms, and break room. Bathed pets if they had an appointment, if they were part of our training package, or if they got dirty. Walked dogs outside in the yard and cleaned up after them. Cleaned and sanitized kennels every morning and night, then after a dog left.
