  • As of August 2022, have the role of Assistant Nurse manager at the wound clinic for the past 3 years. This role is full time with 40+ hours weekly. Manage 15 employees and responsible for everyday activities of the wound clinic. Responsibilities included payroll, rounding, education, ordering of supplies, staff schedules, along with case managing for my patient load. Reviewing current patient census of 263 to ensure wound etiology is accurate and if patient can benefit from advanced modality to include skin sub, HBO, wound vac, etc. Maintain staff productivity efficiently. Run reports to assess outliers (why hasn't the patient healed in 14 weeks), progress notes out of date for the providers, and staff signatures. Meet with the providers weekly to discuss the patients that are on the outlier report to come up with a plan to try and heal the wound. I review policies and procedures with the Medical Director and sing off or add suggestions when needed. Responsible for the hiring of staff in all areas to include the program director, front office coordinator, and Medical Director. Currently working with supply chain to decrease supply costs. Work billing ques in EPIC to submit any additional documentation needed to complete billing i.e. modifiers and CPT codes. Provide patient advocacy by rounding on patients and following up on any complaints.
  • Took on the role of Program Director until one was hired. As the program director, worked on the fiscal report, ran expense reports and presented the findings to the VP.
