Dedicated Special Education Teacher with a strong focus on differentiated instruction and classroom management. Proven ability to develop individualized education plans and foster student engagement through assistive technology integration.
I am a teacher in a 7–12 grade building where my responsibilities extend well beyond classroom instruction. In addition to teaching, I am the 7th and 8th Grade Class Advisor, 7th and 8th Grade Student Council Director, and Middle School (6–8) Forensics Director. I am also a member of the G.R.I.P. (Graduation Rate Improvement Plan) Team and act as a Check & Connect mentor for a sophomore student. Additionally, I coordinate Champion Games at the district level.
I value each of these roles deeply and am passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for students to lead, compete, and grow. I find great purpose in watching students develop confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of identity, especially during the middle school years, when students are navigating significant academic, social, and emotional growth. Supporting students through this pivotal stage and helping them discover their strengths is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
