Summary

Undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in wildlife management and minor in journalism at Cal Poly Humboldt. I have developed skills in data collection and analysis in multiple software, as well as use of monitoring tools, navigation devices and traps in the field. I am an Eagle Scout and am comfortable spending long periods working in remote areas. I hope to contribute to the global battle for wildlife conservation by using these skills to broaden our understanding of animals.

  • I work part-time as a broadcast television reporter and cover news in Humboldt, Trinity and Del Norte counties. I use my education in wildlife biology to specialize in nature-related stories. • I intern for the Humboldt County chapter of The Surfrider Foundation, a global ocean conservation nonprofit.
