During my high school career, I strove to enroll in the most demanding courses possible to not only establish a strong foundation as I head into college, but to also prove I had what it takes to master the course material; In doing so, I developed skills intrinsic to leadership and my adult life as a whole. My dedication towards achieving my goals required me to participate in numerous summer camps and extra-curricular activities to improve upon my character and demonstrate my unyielding commitment towards success.

UIL Speech and Debate, Glen Rose High School, Glen Rose, TX, 08/21-05/25

• Partook in numerous classes and summer workshops
• Regularly competed in practice, district, and regional tournaments
• Lead workshop programs at Glen Rose that taught underclassmen from other school districts

• Completed all three years of the Education in Action Lone Star Leadership program
• Alumnus of the American Legion Texas Boys State
• Received District 6AAAA best public speaker honors
• Completed classwork to receive an Entrepreneurship and Small Business certification
• Recipient of the Glen Rose Optimist Club's Optimist of the Month honors
