Work History

Grader/TA

University Of South Florida
01.2024 - Current

I was initially brought on as a grader for both Enriched Physics II and Physics II Lab, but have since taken up some TA responsibilities. My grading responsibilities are simply grading written problems for Enriched Physics II and grading online submission for Physics II Lab. My TA responsibilities include holding friday lecture/recitation, holding office hours, posting worked out solutions to the homework problems, and taking questions by email from students (all for Enriched Physics II). I believe this job has strengthened my social skills, my ability to instruct others, as well as my knowledge of physics, being forced to understand it on a deeper level to teach others. It has also been particularly illuminating in the fact that i have become more aware of the importance of having multiple perspectives on the same issue, problem, topic etc.

- I have gotten very good at explaining complex concepts to others due to my experience as a TA
