Dynamic Operations Manager with a proven track record at Benick Machineworks LLC, enhancing operational efficiency and profitability. Skilled in strategic planning and staff development, I've successfully managed cross-functional teams, negotiated high-value projects, and fostered significant subscriber growth in advocacy. My advanced organizational skills and problem-solving prowess have consistently driven company-wide improvements and stakeholder satisfaction.
In my free time I am very passionate about 2 things - retail investor advocacy, and vintage/modern motorcycle restorations.
After graduating college I became interested in investing in my future, and my families future. After navigating the complex world of the stock market I came to realize that retail investors are not allowed to play by the same rules, or on the same playing field as large players. After being an active member of a retail investor forum, the management asked me if I would interested in becoming a moderator for the forum. I have spent the last 3 years promoting retail investor advocacy movements in my free time with this team. Our forum has exploded from 200,000 subscribers to over 1,200,000 at this moment. We have had the pleasure of securing Q&A time with current SEC chairman Gary Gensler, and time to speak with him about our concerns. We have also organized retail investor advocacy comment letters to the tune of tens, if not hundreds of thousands of reply's. These comment letters have had a direct impact on retail investor laws and regulation, further helping the little guys get on an even playing field as the big players. We spend the rest of our time furthering our forums education about trading, derivatives, complex financial law, regulation and retail investor advocacy campaigns. Over the last 3 years the forum has also organized and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity, like our $100,000+ Toys for Tots campaign. Our goal is to further education retail investors on the more complex and confusing parts of the stock market. Our long term goal is to bring buys and sells out of dark pools / internalized trading platforms and onto lit exchanges. Currently upwards of 95% of retail stock purchases or sells do not execute on a lit exchange, and therefore do not effect the supply and demand cycle that our trading systems use for price discovery.
When I am not working with the volunteer team on retail advocacy efforts I spend most of my free time restoring motorcycles. I fell in love with motorcycles when I was 18 years old and spend my free time working on my race / restoration bike projects. My primary area of interest is 1980's - 1990's two-stroke GP factory race bikes, although I love anything with two wheels and a motor. I have bought and sold many bikes over the last 10 years and restored bikes for clients and friends. At the moment I am nearing the end of a long, complicated four year restoration on a rare 1988 Yamaha TZ250U factory race bike. I am also nearing the end of completing a replica YZR500 Yamaha GP race bike based off of the 1984 Yamaha RZ350 street bike. This has been a five year restoration that I am nearing completion of. I have also begun the preliminary work on a 1993 Yamaha TZ250D factory race bike with a 700cc single Yamaha transplant engine, dubbed the, "TZ700R," by the previous owner who could not complete the project.
