• Baratta Lab investigates the neural basis of stress resilience through the use of mouse and rat animal models.
• Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: performing surgeries, suturing, drawing solutions, post-operation pain-relief injections, brain extractions, brain sectioning, tissue perfusion, immunostaining, microscope imaging, data analysis, and data presentation.
• I am an author on a soon-to-be published paper (see attached document, and I am also responsible for another project, of which I will be first author.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading one-on-one tutoring sessions with customized lesson plans to improve student vocabulary, grammar, and syntax.
• Assessing student progress through regular evaluations, and adapting to student needs.

Responsibilities included:

• Enforcement of pool rules and guidelines to maintain a safe environment for all patrons.
• Prompt responses to emergencies, while providing first aid and rescue services as needed.
• Writing detailed records of incidents and rescues.
• Regularly inspecting equipment and facilities to identify potential hazards.
• Training new lifeguards on rescue techniques, equipment, and emergency procedures.
