Nick Tinajero

In my previous experience as an educator, I have taught in an elementary classroom setting between grades Pre-k through 5th grade. Most of the classrooms were structured based off of a Bilingual/ESL classroom setting and the goal was to speak in the students native language of Spanish and then transition them to English. I received a bachelors in Spanish with concentration in Education. Then I completed graduates studies in Curriculum and Instruction with specialization in ESL. Although I have worked in the tech field for more than a decade, I still provided instruction to my children that were homeschooled until they reached high school. Both of my older children completed their dual credit program (HS diploma and associates at the Austin Community College). I am passionate about teaching and sharing my experiences with students because they will be the ones making a huge impact in their communities now and in the future.
