Executive Manager at United States Postal Service. 

New Orleans La., San Antonio Tx. and N. Houston.            4/20 - 12/24 Retired.

Managed small to large Mail Processing Facilities with each facility having increased levels of responsibilities. I was detailed to Air Network Specialist in 2001-2002 with the responsibility of identifying and creating flights on commercial airlines ensuring mail movement to protect Service. In 2003-2005 I was promoted to Plant Manager New Orleans Air Mail Center. The facility was closed as a result of Hurricane Katrina, I was responsibility for overseeing outgoing mail volume at the Air Mail Center as well as the incoming volume processed at the St. Rose Annex. In 2006 I was detailed as Plant Manager of the New Orleans P&DC with the task of restoring operations in this facility, that was severely damaged as a result of Hurricane Katrina. In 2006 I was promoted to Plant Manager Lafayette Processing Distribution Facility I remained in this position until 2008. My responsibility was processing outgoing volume assuring timely clearance to make connections out of New Orleans. During this time I improved the Service of the facility to a 98% for Quarters 3&4 during FY 2008.  In 2008-2010 I was promoted to Manager Post Office Operations overseeing the day to day operations of 150 post office which encompassed the area of Louisiana from 703-706. During this time the offices in my area made operational precision by having all carriers off the street prior to the Dispatch of value. Form 2010-2012 I was on a special assignment for the  District Manager of Louisiana to consolidate SCF mail processing operations from Customer Service to the nearest Mail Processing Plant.  I successfully  consolidated all   SCF operations to the nearest mail processing plant reducing work hours and logistic cost without any impact or degradation of service. In 2012-2014 I was detailed to Lafayette as the Plant Manager and Post Master. Over seeing the mail processing and dispatch to Customer Service reducing work hours and maintaining service. As Postmaster of Lafayette I oversaw 300 city carriers and 75 rural routes assuring timely delivery and dispatching of mail to the Plant. In 2014-2020  I was promoted to  Plant Manager of Baton Rouge Processing Distribution Center. As Plant Manager I oversaw the day to day operations of incoming and outgoing operations with a staff of 350 employees . During my time as Plant Manager of Baton Rouge the facility won 4 awards for best service in the Louisiana District as well as 2 District awards for reduction of work hours and operating under the budgeted. In 2014 I was detailed to N. Houston Processing Distribution Center as Manager Distribution Operations as a tour I MDO overseeing DPS (Delivery Point Sequence) automation operations during the facility transition from 2 facility into 1. In 2020 I was promoted to Senior Plant Manager of Louisiana overseeing 4 Mail Processing facilities with a combined workforce of 1,629 employees. The volume processed through all plants was 5.5 billion pieces of mail with an annual budget of $168 million. In November 2020 I was detailed as Plant Manager North Houston Mail Processing Facility, being promoted to Plant Manager North Houston in 2021. As Plant Manager North Houston I oversaw the day to day operations of a staff 75 Managers, 1830 employees with an annual volume processed over 28 billion pieces and annual budget of 200 million dollars.  During my time as Plant Manager of North Houston P&DC, I lead the facility to three consecutive National Proformance Achievement awards out performing nine  other Executive Plants within the Southern Division. Achieving three consecutive National Performance Achievement awards had not been accomplished in the previous 10 years.
