Coming from a first-generation immigrant family, I learned that hard work is key to success in the United States, as well as that if I want change in society, I better get up and do it instead of only talking about it. It was because of this that in my senior year, I took it upon myself to expand my love for politics and founded a Turning Point USA chapter at my local high school. Because of this and my attendance in many recruiting events, I got invited to start attending meetings at the Martin County Republican Party and later became a precinct committeeman to be able to represent my precinct during party meetings and help organise the budget and craft the agenda
