CNA Role:

• Doing task that are delegated by an RN or CH Rn, which includes doing vitals, ambulating, toileting, ROM,
• Emptying foley, foley cares, emptying drains (JP, LB, PT, SP and Ostomy's)
• Removal of IV from PT.
• Ensuring that NG, NJ, G/J Tube sites are cleaned and intact flushing tubes and doing feeds via Tubes and documenting I's and O's, doing and documenting hourly checks
• Removing lunch and dinner trays, ordering food for PT's
• Maintaining safe sleep in PT's less than a year
• Reporting changes of status in PT's and reporting critical vital signs,
• Performing POCT, collecting specimens for testing
• HUC Role:
• Admitting PT's. to the unit and updating Phillips monitor with Pt
• Paging the appropriate team, Resident or Provider
• Printing labels, wrist bands, consent forms, visitors list
• Orienting parents/guardians to the unit
• Setting up rooms for admission

• Supported children in play activities, meals and snacks, hygiene and socialization.
• Assisted with light housekeeping duties as well as running errands.
• Organized and cleaned home after activities by picking up toys and straightening up play room.
• Built positive and nurturing environments to support child social and emotional growth.
• Engaged with children on age-appropriate level.
• Played games, worked on puzzles and read books to young children.
