Obtained data from medical charts, thoroughly and efficiently reviewed the medical data and audited files all while being careful to utilize HIPAA.

Abstracted medical records information into a data spreadsheet that was provided. The abstracted data was then provided to the medical officer or epidemiologist support services for the hospital.

Care for patients who are transitioning from life to death by using comfort measures to make that transition go as smooth as possible. Administer meds, wound care, assist with bathing, change their positions every 2-3hrs if they are unable to do so by themselves, perform mouth care, comfort and educate the patient as well as the family. Also, participate in a weekly collaboration team meeting to discuss the patient as a whole.
