Nicole Boelens

Ames,Iowa

Summary

My family and I established this farm in 2001. From raising and butchering cattle, pigs, and chickens, to properly learning how to clean the barn, pigs pens, and the chicken coop. I have learned responsibility from taking care of these animals, and also the 3 kids I nannied. I learned how to put the kids first, know nutritional facts for young children, and how to prepare food confidently. When working in an office, I learned maturity with the customers, but also a nice work environment. I am dependable, responsible, intelligent, and willing. I believe I will make a great Resident Assistant because I am social, outgoing, responsible, communicative, organized, and bubbly.

Hobbies:

I have played volleyball for 12 years! I got recruited to play Division 1 Volleyball at Ole Miss University, but I am a family girl through and through, so moving 9 hours away would have been tough. I have coached a 12U club team, and started reffing volleyball matches 2 years ago. I love how this game helped me become a leader, learn how to work as a team or in a group, but also trust is a huge factor in the game.
