Currently, I am finishing my AAS in June at North Seattle College, with the aim of attaining a BS in Conversation Science (Natural Resources) at UW, Bothell.

  • Monthly data testing for the Carkeek Watershed Action Project, Water Quality Program.
  • Use of GWW test kits to collect data on stream temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, alkalinity, hardiness, and turbidity.
  • Collecting monthly stream samples for bio-monitoring data (benthic macroinvertebrates).
  • Bacteriological monitoring.
  • Water quality testing is done in accordance with Global Water Watch protocol and procedures.

  • Conducting monthly field testing of 11 sites along tributaries and sub-basins of the McAleer Watershed.
  • Use of a YSI multi-parameter digital water quality meter and a Hach calorimeter to collect measurements of air and water temperature, water turbidity, conductivity, % oxygen saturation, dissolved oxygen, pH, total suspended solids, nitrate, and phosphate levels.
  • Perform sampling procedures for the detection and quantification of E. coli in water sources.
  • Establishing water quality baselines and ongoing trends for streams and tributaries in two urban watersheds in Northern King County, using Water Quality Index methods.
