I've been with a Public School department going on 15 years. Started off as a cafeteria worker, a head cook, an operations manager, and now an assistant director. I started off managing a team of 10, to being a union rep to all 119 of them , and to now managing 122 of them. There are 6 elementary school kitchens, 1 high school, 1 Pre K we satellite food and also a daycare we satellite to. As you can see I have an extensive background in experience but there is always more to learn and that is where I am at in my career right now. I want to challenge myself with a different district that has more schools. See if I can make a difference of course not only in the students lives but more importantly the employees lives. A lot of us tend to forget that it starts off with the employees.
